Viral gastritis: Sounds like you three are sharing an infection. Often these are viral, and short-lived. It is normal not to have an appetite when you are vomiting, so no need to force food down, since it'll just come back up again. The burning is from the stomach acid irritating the stomach lining. Avoid cow milk, and try to stay hydrated with water or electrolyte/sport drinks. Try some broth. Start back slowly.
