It would be helpful: ...to know what his bowel pattern was like before the procedure, and whether there are other concerning signs or symptoms present now (e.g. abdominal distension, tenderness, fever, blood in stool). If any doubt, call the physician who performed the colonoscopy, since he knows what was found & what transpired during the scope.
