It probably normal: many people have a visible pulse in their abdomen and its normal. If you're anxious and you focus your attention on your body, you will probably imagine all sorts of problems that don't exist. It's normal for people with anxiety to do that. The important thing is to learn to control your anxiety, and find an understanding primary doc who can reassure you when something comes up.

Pulse: That pulse is the result of your heart causing dilation of the abdominal aorta and periodically increasing the volume of intestinal blood. You'd be dead w/o it. Strange to have hypertension at your age without renal or other serious involvement. Be sure to see a cardiologist or internist to R/O things like a pheochromocytoma. You should be anxious until you solve the BP problem.
