What r possible reasons orange phlegm rising from my throat not via cough.. given my pd rx isn't source, nor is orange food/drink. do have emphysema?

Otolaryngologist: This substance may be a mixture of mucus, saliva with traces of blood and may be coming from the back of the nose, paranasal sinuses, mouth or throat since you're not coughing it up. It is not a symptom of emphysema and most likely is not coming from the bronchial tubes or lungs which would usually have an accompanying cough. I recommend that you have an exam by an otolaryngologist.
