A slight sore throat that comes & go along with yellow or orange like phlegm, with a persistent cough for what seems to go on more then three weeks?

Virus &/or allergies: Viral upper respiratory infections can hang around for weeks, but may be compounded by allergies. Sinus infection is another possibility. Best to see a primary care provider at this point for a more complete evaluation. Hope this helps!

Persistent cough: Follow up with an urgent care/ doctor. Sometimes mycoplasma or atypical bacterial infections can cause persistent coughs and are treated with zithromax or quinolones Hope this helps.
