Knee pain: Your suprapatellar bursa is a midline structure that decreases friction from the quadriceps muscle underneath it. Did you have any trauma to your knee? What kind of activities were you doing? Rest your knee, use ice, NSAIDs, and consider wrapping your knee with an ACE wrap. You may have had a knee effusion with communication to your bursa, bursitis, or a cyst. Get a physical exam in office please
