My knee is popping when i unbend my leg, every ~15 minutes. there's a light pressure on my knee (not painful) and it's a little uncomfortable to drive. any idea what's going on and when should i see a doctor? i don't remember ever injuring my knee

Orthopedics: Hi, this could be "runner's knee" which is inflammation around the patella. This could also be a meniscus injury and rest, ice, elevation, and even anti inflammatory medication could help with this. These injuries can occur with planting the foot and twisting. You may need imaging such as x ray and mri for further evaluation. I would follow up with a sports medicine specialist for more detail
