Temporary pain: that goes away in an hour without any limits on range of motion is not likely to be serious. doing jumping and moving is about the most strain you can do on limbs. The shock of doing them wrong can be much more weight than even proper maximal weight lifts. A bit of supervision from a trainer at a gym or physical therapist would likely fix it.
