Not normal: This is a problem during perimenopause, but this amount of bleeding cannot be sustained. You will eventually (within a few hours) become anemic and dizzy, and you could even faint. You should probably go to an emergency if you continue this rate of flow. They can evaluate you and possibly treat the bleeding with a prescription for hormones. You can follow up with your gynecologist afterwards.
