It's cold out there.: The blister formation is typical for the treatment. The redness around it could indicate an infection, especially if there is unusual pain and skin streaking. You would do well to notify the doctor and see if the wound needs attention. An oral antibiotic may need to given for a possible infection.

Could be just...: Of course, you have 2 options to go. First, watch, wait, & see as long as being slowly but surely getting better day by day; if not but reversing the usually expected course of healing, call the treating doctor for further advice so to decide if addition care may be needed or not.
