A member asked:

How can leukemia affect the lymph nodes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Makes them bigger...: Lymph nodes are basically a place where normal white blood cells reside. Leukemic cells, which are cancerous white blood cells, will sometimes go to lymph nodes and divide rapidly, which in turn makes the lymph node grow abnormally large.
