Depends on surgeon: Surgeons or insurance groups have different prerequisites and requirements for Persons to be cleared for a panniculectomy. It would probably be evaluated on a case-by-case basis but usually includes a dietary, psychological and physical therapy evaluation after a medical necessity eval.
