Metformin: Have you tried taking the metformin with food and not on an empty stomach? If you are truly intolerant of metformin, notify your prescribing physician for instructions and advice.

Side effect: Metfomin is known to have side effects like diarrhea. If you continue to have problem after discontinuing metformin may be a from different cause, have it checked out.
