Metformin: This medication commonly causes GI side effects. Discuss altering the dosage with your doctor or alternative medication. Additionally, you need to discuss this with your physician to see if this could be related to gastritis, or other problems. Something like Prilosec could be helpful for a short period of time. Talk to your physician.
