Sore throat.: This could be an infection, likely viral, depending on how long you' be had it. Viral upper respiratory infections tend to last 3-5 days on average, and may not progress beyond just that sore throat. You may cough, but would tend to not be too congested. If this lasts beyond one week, you should see a doctor for a formal evaluation.
