No Dot about it.....: Black dots, no matter where they are found, need to be looked at very closely. The chances are, the dots are nothing serious, but it is better to remove all doubt. Have them examined and possibly removed, if necessary. The possibilities range from a bite or foreign body to a soft tissue lesion.

This is : Where a picture is worth a thousand words. Without seeing black dots could represent a wart, could be dried blood, concern for melanoma needs to be in the differential diagnosis. Best to visit a doctor for absolute diagnosis or somehow provide a picture.
