i believe that i have a ruptured ovarian cyst (i have endometriosis and it has happened before). er doc said nothing could be done. is this true?

Be checked by doc: endometriosis can be treated medically by your physician once the diagnosis is verified. A ruptured ovarian cyst will cause much pain for a short while, then spontaneously resolve over several days. This is a common occurrence. You should be examined by a physician.

No: Only surgery and pathologically looking at the cyst can tell you. If your ca -125 level in the blood is high then that suggests endometriosis.

Wait couple of wks: Even though no fluid there will be inflammatory reaction which will take couple of wks to clear, and visit your gyn doctor.
