Bloody cough: I'm sorry that you're having this difficulty. Your problem is that when you cough hard you notice blood tinges in the sputum that you cough up. This can be quite normal especially at your age. If it continues or gets worse you need to see a physician who will probably order a chest x-ray. Take over-the-counter cough medicine and treat the cold with fluids, cough medicine and rest. Don't worry
