I had a tonsillectomy, food likes to get caught in the leftover pockets, what would happen if they were to seal up with food debris still in there?

Normal healing: To answer your question your pharynx will heal normally and you will not collect food in the area. You need to drink more liquids when you are eating. I have performed over 600 tonsillectomies and I've never had a problem with food getting stuck permanently. Good luck
