Bipolar diagnosis: Mood shifts or swings can happen for many reasons, eg, situational or stress, anxiety, ADD, hormonal, neurological, depression, medications, drugs etc. See a qualified mental health professional for a proper evaluation. Medical factors must be ruled out. See: https://www.akronchildrens.org/cms/kidshealth/9851216084755bb2/index.html I hope this helps. Best wishes.

Many possibilities: You don't want to jump to any conclusions or diagnosis. There are several possibilities for the symptoms that you describe . Many things need to be taken into account including drug and alcohol use and any suicidal thoughts. Why not speak with a psychiatrist or another mental health professional ?
