Can have normal mood: With the correct combination of medications, your mood can be normal. The correct mood stabilizer which suits you the best should be given. Many times ideal combination is not given. Try to study your medications from google or any scientific source.Knowledge is power, you can ask questions to your psychiatrist. You can go for a second opinion if you are not satisfied with current psychiatrist.

BIPOLAR: It is important to find the correct combination of medications with your Psychiatrist. But medications alone are not sufficient because they do not teach you coping mechanisms for stress. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist can help you find ways to handle stress that will help your medications to work better. It is time well well-spent to invest in well-being.
