Peptic gastritis: Peptic gastritis (acid injury to the stomach) may be a cause. Often this can cause vague abdominal discomfort in this area. It can, but is not always accompanied by heartburn and regurgitation of foods. Consider limiting foods that are spicy, tomato based, greasy/fried, alcohol, and caffeine.
