Symptoms important: MRI findings is only one important variable used to help decide what is best for your knee. More important by far are your symptoms. Does knee feel loose or unstable? The examination findings are also critical. Does your physician feel your knee is stable or not. If you feel your knee is loose and this correlates with your exam findings, then the MRI helps dictate the details of potential surgery.
