Hole in ear drum: Holes in the ear drums due to trauma or infection typically heal with time, but sometimes a non hearing perforation is noted. Usually perforations are associated with hearing loss. If the perforation does not heal, you should make an appointment for a hearing test and ENT evaluation. Good luck!
