Is sociopathy hereditary? my father i haven't seen in 10 years has had it all his life. doctor said may be diagnosed it later in life if d continues

Genes are: NOT our destiny. We used to think so but a new branch of science called "Epigenetics" studies what turns our genetic tendencies on or off, which is lifestyle, diet, self-talk, etc. Genetic research on sociopathy is much debated. Even IF you have a slight tendency in that direction your lifestyle can help cancel it out. If you have some empathy for others that is part of a good prognosis. Peace
