Platelet count: Normal platelet count is 150-450 K. I would consider yours normal at this point. It should be safe to do cardiac catheterization. If it goes lower, see a hematologist. Cardiologists can safely do angiograms through the wrist. Cardiac catheterization for pressure gradient measurements may need access through the groin. Keep me updated.
