A member asked:

I have had soreness on the inside of the tip of my nose for just over a month. i can't tell if there is an actual sore as not visible and no discharge?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nasal vestibulitis: An inflammation of the inside of the nose in the opening is usually an inflammation in the hair follicles. (Vestibulitis)Topical antibiotics such as Mupirocin or Neosporin can be utilized daily. If the pain in the nose continues for more than a week you should see an ear nose and throat specialist because antibiotics may be necessary. Either way do not put your finger or other things in your nose
