Myofascial pain: You're not alone--This is a very common but poorly understood disorder. We weren't evolved to be spending all day with our shoulders crunched up, typing on computers! Ergonomic changes help some people, and massage and trigger point injections also help some people, as you mention. Discuss ergonomics with your PT, she/he may be a good resource for you.
