You'll be fine: Taking 1 gram (1000 mg) azithromycin in a single dose is the normal treatment for chlamydia and the STD nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). It might work for an ear infection, but has not been studied. In any case, it won't hurt you. Maybe some brief abdominal pain, nausea, or diarrhea, but that's all. Contact your doctor to be certain you took the drug as she intended. Good luck!
