My 6yr old daughter had her blood work done which reports high vit b12 level @ 1186 pg/ml. not on any supplements, has vitiligo, is this a concern?

Very high level: The abnormal lab value needs to be further addressed. Can be caused by increase in the blood protein that carries B12 (made by blood cells), or liver or kidney problems. If basic labs for liver/kidney are normal, the next step is to screen for problems related to the bone marrow and blood cell production or for inflammatory disorders. Vitiligo (autoimmune attack of pigmented cells) could explain.
