256 pounds: Time to start losing your weight. Please go to a nearby training facility and gradually lose weight under control of a weight specialist. Don't try and lose weight "overnight" - be patient! I don't think your weight will cause hair loss. Surely you have seen many markedly overweight women without hair loss.
