Too Little info: Try Mucinex (guaifenesin) for the cold. Where it hurts counts. Shoulder can be muscle, tendon or joint, Upper arm can be tendon or torn muscle, Elbow could be ligament, tendon or muscle origin. Forearm could be tendon/muscle combo. Then the wrist cd be cartilage. First be sure it is not a broken bon. Then, if pain persists, get back and be more specific where and how it hurts.

Arm sling, vitamin C: If you can move your arm, chances are that it is not fractured. So, most likely a soft tissue injury. Take some over the counter advil or aleve (naproxen) (if you are not allergic) and wear a sling to keep your arm still. If the pain continues or gets worse, get evaluated by a physician and get xray. For your cold symptoms, take 4 grams of vitamin C and an antihistamine (if not allergic). See MD if necessary
