About
Bio
I am an Internist and have practiced medicine for 22 years. I graduated from St. George's School of Medicine in 1994 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. I did my residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, NY. I have practiced in NC since 1997 and have been in private practice since then. I have done my very best to protect and preserve the rights of patients and give them the best personalized care I could have, through the years. This was one of the big reasons that I decided against ever working with a Hospital system, where productivity was the most important metric in the practice of medicine.
I have slowly and surely moved the focus of my practice into an integrated medicine model, exploring non-pharmacological ways to heal the human body by optimizing nutrition and reducing stress. I now teach a personalized curriculum, based on the 5 pillars of health; Detoxification, Nutrition, Exercise, Hormone replacement and Nervous system optimization. I also utilize platelet rich plasma innovatively to enhance sexual performance, restore and rejuvenate hair, reduce pain in certain joint conditions, and use it also for aesthetic procedures, including face lifts, facials, breast lifts and scar reductions. As an integrative medicine physician, I am well in the company of physicians at Duke University and the Cleveland Clinic, where there are large centers for Integrative Medical care.
My goal is to get patients educated on matters of wellness and preventative health before they develop the symptoms of chronic degenerative conditions. Consuming the best macro and micronutrients will ensure that they give themselves the best chance at protecting their health and staying well.
Come and explore with me the different ways you can preserve your health in unique ways, designed particularly to suit your unique body.
