Probably not: The only study on apple cider vinegar(ACV) was done in Japan on 157 women. Half were given ACV the other group was not. The difference in weight loss was minimal, 1-2 pounds, which was regained after ACV was stopped. ACV purportedly lowers blood sugar by interfering with starch absorption. I wasn't able to find other medical studies supporting its use for weight loss.
