BIsoprolol: Bisoprolol is a drug belonging to the group of beta-blockers, a class of medicines used primarily in cardiovascular diseases. It can decrease blood pressure and also the heart rate minimally. These meds are often used off label to treat anxiety as well, as they work on many symptoms caused by stress. Discuss with your Doctor your specific stress/panic issues and see what med is best for you.

Yes: Bisoprolol is a beta blocker that has been used for panic disorder. Taken once daily it can prevent some of the symptoms of panic such as rapid heart beat, tremor and hyperventilation. Physicians usually start treatment for panic disorder with an SSRI type antidepressant +/- a benzodiazepine. Bisoprolol can be used to augment these or in place of if the former are ineffective.
