Ovulation tests: Ovulation kits are available over the counter. The instructions will give specific recommendations for that brand. Ovulation occurs 12-48 hrs after the test turns positive. Blood ovulation tests can be ordered by your doctor as well. Typically a Progesterone blood test is one half way through the 2nd half of the cycle most commonly day 21.
