You can but . .: Alcohol and NSAIDS like naproxen share a side effect through different mechanisms. They can both cause gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining). Some are more susceptible to these effects than others. This effect can usually be attenuated by having food in your stomach. Of course drinking alcohol when you have whatever symptoms you took Naprosyn for in the first place, probably won't help.
