Usually not: Minimal impact on mouth although some studies suggest that it may affect teeth growth and push them outward. Encourage her to stop as the behavior can sometimes persist into adulthood. 11 years old or 11: months? It says you are 19 yo, so that's why I'm wondering. If she is 11 months old, it is not a problem at all; if 11 years old, it could affect the alignment of her teeth, so you may want to try to distract her with other activities when you see her doing it. If you pay too much attention, she will probably do it more.
