Play nicely!: There's wide variation involved. Damage is unlikely from the pillow, but your muscle reaction/stress response may combine to make the area feel worse. If there are times it feels OK, that's good. (if not, see Dr) Aim to extend them intentionally. Use this breath pattern: In thru nose - hold in lung - FULL blowing exhale thru lips. It can relax the tight throat muscles. Relax and, play nicely!
