Xrays and cancer: Every X-ray increases your risk of cancer as does flying in an airplane where you also get radiation. But the risk of a chest X-ray must be very small. Don't know what you mean buy significantly. is going from 1 in 100.000,000 to 2 in 100.000.000 significant for you then the answer is yes for you. Thats a 50% increase. But still very small change in risk overall.
