Consider Ayurveda: In Western medicine there is no scientifically proven diet for inflammatory bowel disease. Some patients can identify specific foods that trigger symptoms, avoid those foods. If you have problems absorbing nutrients, a high-calorie, high-protein diet, even when you don't feel like eating. Ayurveda is more likely to offer you specific advice on which foods to avoid and which foods to eat.
