Possibly: 46 year old with sore throat and ear pain, child with diagnosed strep. It is very possible that you have strep as well, since strep is contagious and spreads with shared utensils, glasses, toothbrushes, kisses, etc. Only way to know for sure is to see a health care provider, you need a swab of your throat for definitive diagnosis.
