Hard to say: That is unusual as you would expect a swimmer to have excellent aerobic condition. Probably the best explanation is the use of a different set of muscles going from swimming to running that are becoming fatigued early because they are relatively deconditioned. If running is important to you, it is certainly likely you would be able to train through it.
