See below: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) 875 mg may be crushed (unless it has the letters “XR” in the name -- then it CANNOT be crushed) and mixed with food such as applesauce. Liver problems are rare but known to occur. Things to watch for are: dark urine, feeling tired, not hungry, light colored stools, or yellow skin or eyes - report these to your doctor should you notice any of these but, as mention, they’re a rarity.
