Exam advised: Fever, sweats,chills, body aches followed by four days of midabdominal pain is concerning and this may have been an intestinal viral infection especially if diarrhea ensued. Even though the pain has subsided you still have symptoms which could be part of the viral infection,but see your physician if you still feel quite ill or if any abdominal pain recurs as appendicitis would be a concern
