Raw Rice: simply CANNOT be DIGESTED and has no NUTRITIONAL value thus I must ask WHY???? are you eating it?? It's a bit like eating clay...or dirt...... Hope this helps! BTW I would check this "habit" out with your PCP (Primary Care Provider)..

Yes: Raw rice is harder to digest than cooked rice. If one chews and chews to grind the raw rice into a flour slurry, it should digest better. If one has no gurgly tummy symptoms, then the raw rice is not likely causing any problems. One might end up with TMJ pain due to all that chewing. One should also be checked for anemia, which can cause cravings to chew on things. There exist some raw rice myths.
