I noticed a strange bruise on my leg today with very dark purple lines going through it. i have no pain and it's not even tender. should i be worried?

Bruising: Some docs believe that the pulp of citrus will reduce bruising. I doubt it. Some people-esp. women-bruise easily from minor insults. This is, fortunately, only skin deep. The dark purple are patent veins perhaps more superficial due to the slight swelling of the bruise. This does not raise any red flags. It is simply a personal peculiarity that is not uncommon.
