A member asked:

What can be included in the best diet following post-op endoscopic prepatellar bursectomy where there is lots of swelling?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diet: Has nothing to do with pre-patellar bursitis. Eat well and stay thin. Compression and ice is good prophylaxis for the post-op swelling. Endoscopy for pre-patellar bursitis is an unusual treatment unless conservative care, which is almost always effective, fails repeatedly. Then you wonder why it failed.
