A 21-year-old female asked:
Can left arm, neck, shoulder, chest pain be a sign of a heart problem? if so, then if the pain goes on its own could it still be a heart problem?

No!: Certainly not at your age It is true that the pain of true angina can radiate from the chest to the jaw and left arm but the reverse is not true!? I think pain of true angina which is often central chest pain with a heavy quality is severe and unlikely to be confused
