Best to avoid: It is best to avoid. Hopefully it is not a problem for you to go 6 days without alcohol. If that is a problem, it is a bigger one than mixing whiskey with medrol (methylprednisolone) dosepak. Best

Drug interactions: Taking oral steroid and alcohol at the same time should bit cause you any major problems. The one potential issue if that both drugs can irritate the stomach and together result in gastritis or esophagitis. That is not nearly so much of a problem if you cut out the alcohol.
